Meet Eric, fighting for financial resilience in Riverside County

My experiences living in California have instilled in me a deep appreciation for strong communities, and I'm dedicated to making District 5 an even better place to live, especially for those facing economic hardship.

Beginning my service on the Riverside County Community Action Commission, I'm committed to community-elected representation and working collaboratively with county supervisors to address poverty and build financial resilience.

My academic foundation in social justice, built on a bachelor's degree in public administration and a minor in pre-law, and my current pursuit of a master's in public administration fuel my passion for tackling complex issues like economic inequality. Furthermore, my work as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) has given me a profound understanding of the challenges faced by children and families in the foster care system, many of whom are impacted by poverty. My experience on the IHSS-Public Authority advisory committee gives me firsthand insight into the financial struggles of our elderly and disabled residents, and I'm committed to advocating for policies that support their economic well-being.

As a CAP commissioner, I will focus on data-driven policies that create pathways to upward mobility and ensure CAP programs effectively reach those in need. I am your voice on the Riverside County Community Action Commission, working tirelessly with the Board of Supervisors to create real solutions for our low-income communities in District 5.
